General Information
The Brussels tournament will be held on October 29th and 30th, 2011.

5 rounds MacMahon without handicap
timing: 1 hour per player
byo-yomi: 15 stones for 5 minutes
komi: 6.5

Non-smoking tournament (smoking corner in the Atomic 's Tavern on the ground floor).

Registration and entry Fee
- 15 EUR for registration and payment before the 23/10/2011
- 20 EUR after the 23/10/2011

+5 EUR for Belgian players, non-member of the BGF
-5 EUR for Players born after 31/10/1999

You can pay the fee by transfer on our bank account with the communication : "Brussels" + your name + your rank.

Please note that you only qualify for the early registration fee if the the payment arrives before 23/10/2011. It is your responsibility to take into account the possible delay of your bank in transferring money. When your payment arrives after 23/10/2011, you risk to have to pay the late registration fee on site, after which your original payment will be refunded minus administration costs.

Players, from outside the Euro zone facing high bank transfer costs, qualify for the early registration fee if they register online before 23/10/2011.

If you pre-register and can not make it for the first round, you are expected to notify the organization. For this, you can use the phone numbers +32 474 891910 or +32 486 968518.

Once your registration fee has been received, you will be paired for the first round. You only have to confirm your presence if there are mistakes in your name or rating on our wall-list.

You can cancel your registration by warning us. Before 23/10/2011, 12 euros will be refunded, after 23/10/2011 only 7.5 euros. In addition to any consequences as specified in EGF rules, not showing up for the first round without warning the organization will forfeit the tournament.

1st prize: 500 EUR
2nd prize: 300 EUR
3rd prize: 200 EUR
4th prize: 100 EUR
5th prize: 50 EUR

Prizes are guaranteed for all the players with 4 or 5 wins.
There will be a tombola (with 150€ of prizes) for all pre-registered players.
Prizes for top places are determined by number of points and SOS. Prizes are divided equally if the number of points and the SOS is equal.

The tournament venue is located in the cultural and economical heart of the European Capital; if you want to visit the historical center and the Grand-Place with all its famous monuments, it's only a 10-minute walk away from the tournament!

How to get there
The Palais du Midi is only 5 to 10 minutes walking from the Gare du Midi (Zuidstation in Dutch), Brussels main train station.

Private accommodation is available, but quite restricted. Don't forget your sleeping bag !
