[Software update August 2015] Japan-1 server missing, wants more rights on Android

Since either yesterday or today, both the mobile and the PC version of WBaduk seem to have gotten an update... unfortunately not for the good. :(

• As for the PC version, I haven't encountered many apparent changes so far, exvept that my flag has changed but is yet incorrect (red background with the chinese character for "woman" in white on top), and more importantly - the Japan-1 server is gone!

What the heck?!
The japanese server used to be my favorite one, I almost never used any of the others. I really hope, you can bring it back soon, because without it I probably don't need WBaduk anymore... (except for life-and-death problems maybe?)

• Concerning the Android app, it keeps saying "disconnected from serverr" and trying to force me to install an update, however the new version requests additional rights like payment, access to my media and WLAN etc.

What does it need all those rights for (especially my media)? I'm very reluctant to install an app that starts to look like spyware (especially if there's no Japan-1 server anyway).

Hope you can solve these problems soon and/or give me any reasonable feedback on the recent changes.
I've been using CyberOro/WBaduk for many years now, and really used to like it, but (as sad as it is) maybe the time has come to say good-bye
