YANG Dingxin 7P has been mentioned since he became a professional player. he was mentioned that he will lead a next generation of Chinese Go since he became a youngest professional in China and had a record of youngest title.

However, his performance on the world stage was not noticeable. the same age's group like FAN Tingyu 9P, XIE Er hao 9P led the way by winning the world championship title. "I displayed my ability well. when ko happened in the right side, I thought it's crisis, but it was fine as a result."

- Congratulation that you got a title of major world tournament.
"I don't know how to express my emotion now. I made the biggest goal as a professional. I beat WON Seongjin 9P and KANG Dongyun 9P and especially, AI showed that KANG Dongyun 9P has 99% of winning. KANG Dongyun 9P struggled a overtime counting and made many mistake so that I could win that game. after that, I decided to get a title."

- SHI Yue 9P is well known as having a power and capturing big groups. Do you play Baduk while you're conscious?
"SHI Yue 9P has a power. however, when playing with me, he doesn't like to make a difficult situation."

- You had became the youngest player and had a record of the youngest title. the label like this is a good one, but it could have been a burden to pay off quickly. in fact, Chinese baduk fans have been raising their voices to point out YANG Dingxin 7P's world championship record.
"A same age's group like FAN Tingyu 9P, XIE Er hao 9P firstly won the championship and went well. at the first time, I was very conscious about it and when I can be like them. however, I thought I could do well in time, and I wasn't nervous about this LG Cup either."

- Where will you spend prize money?
"My parents manage my prize money, probably they will put it in bank."

- How do you study baduk?
"I use AI much. what's different from other players is that I rarely solve life and death problems. when I was young, I studied at YUE Liang and KWON Hyo Jin academy,since it was Korean style, they focus on solving life and death problems. I solved many problems at that time, after becoming professional, I didn't know which problems is fit to me, gradually the idea of solving it became dull.

- how gap between AI and professional will be?
"3 stones will be hopeful for human."

- What do usually do except from studying baduk?
"I like to play game and watch animations."

- Who gave you a life in a your baduk life?
"There are so many people so I can't pick one up, typically, it is Go Seigen  9P and LEE Changho 9P."

- What's your upcoming goals?
"The goal so far was to win a world championship and I did. i'd like to do more in the future, but I didn't even think about doing a few more."
