It's been already over 5 years since the alphago and "Lee-Seodol" had a match.  Between that time, "Lee-Seodol" announced a retirement and Google decided not to upgrade Alphago anymore. 

Alphago also beat the Chinese ranking#1 player "Ke-Je", so its power of influence is still huge.  Lots of professional baduk players are learning a lot by analyzing Alphago.  As the time passed, the gap between Alphago and professional players is being reduced. 

There's something called "Go Rating".  It is the professional website that updates the world baduk ranking every day, and it has a high reliability.  

The current number 1 player "Shin-Jinseo" scored 3800 last December, and it's a surprising score, the highest score ever. 

There are 3 kinds of main Alphago, Alphago Lee(3739), Alphago M(4858), and Alphago Zero(5185).  So, the gap between the human and Alphago is still pretty big.  Would Shin-Jinseo be able to pass over 4000?

The top man and woman player Shin-Jinseo and Choi-Jung have improved a lot from the analysis of Alphago. 
Especially, Choi-Jung had weakness in the beginning part of baduk, but now her beginning became very strong thanks to studying about Alphago.
